Extension & Enrichment

Using testing data from PAT and e asttle discussions with whanau and class teachers we are able to identify students who will benefit from extension. This is on an individual basis and could mean studying a year ahead in all subjects or some subjects.

All year 10 students sit at least one NCEA standard per subject. Some classes may sit 2 depending on ability. Options for students to be dual enrolled for languages and courses not offered at Wairoa College are available to students.
