Wairoa College is thrilled to announce our participation in the Zespri AIMS Games 2024! This exciting 5-day tournament will take place from Saturday, September 7th, to Friday, September 13th, in the beautiful Tauranga Moana. The Games offer an incredible opportunity for young athletes from diverse backgrounds to compete in various sports, connect with peers beyond their usual circles, and enhance their social skills.
For 2024, we proudly fielded two Sevens teams and two individual competitors: the boys' and girls' rugby 7's teams, a Golfer, and a Cross-Country runner.
AIMS Finals Results: Our teams returned home with big smiles and victory in both finals! The girls' team triumphed over Kaiti School with a score of 32-10, while the boys' team secured a fantastic win against Otumoetai Intermediate, finishing 31-12. What an amazing achievement for our athletes!
