Wairoa College will be participating in the Zespri AIMS Games 2024. This 5 day tournament, that will be held Saturday 7th September – Friday 13th September in Tauranga Moana. The Games provides an opportunity for adolescents from all demographics and education contexts to compete in sporting competitions, to meet others from outside their normal peer group, and to learn and build on their social interaction skills.

The team will depart on the Saturday 7th September at 12 noon, so the team arrive in time for the opening ceremony later that afternoon. The team will be returning Saturday 14th September at 3pm. they will travel down in school vans.

Rita Ross, Toby Taylor and Shaz will be staff attending this trip.

There will be 2 team and 2 participants attending the event: Boy and Girls rugby 7’s, golfer and cross country runner.
